Whitelist Tool
What is whitelisting and which DSPs require it?
Whitelisting is a process that allows specific channels or pages to upload copyrighted content without triggering automatic claims from a platform’s Content ID or fingerprinting system. This is particularly relevant for user-generated content platforms like YouTube and SoundCloud, which utilize such technologies to identify and manage copyrighted material.
YouTube
When you whitelist an artist’s or label’s YouTube channel, videos uploaded to the channel will not be claimed by Content ID. Only official artist or label channels are eligible for whitelisting, and all uploaded content must be exclusively owned by you.
SoundCloud
We can also whitelist an artist’s or label’s page on SoundCloud.
Whitelist Tool Guide
To submit a whitelisting request, use the tool available under the “Rights Manager” section in the Menu.
NOTE – Misuse of tool will result in suspension of the service. The tool is currently in its Beta phase, so occasional issues may arise.

Steps Guide
Make sure to check the Guidelines before submitting any request
- In “Select Platform”- Select the platform you want us to whitelist.
- In “Select Channel Type“- Select the channel type from the available options. We can currently whitelist only the Artist’s or Label’s official channel.
- In “Channel Name”– Enter the channel name, ensuring it matches exactly with the B2B or Label name submitted in the content for distribution.
- In “URL”– Add the URL of the channel you want us to whitelist. Only one URL can be added per request.
- Click Submit
Once the request is submitted, our team reviews it and accepts or rejects it depending on the request. It usually takes 48-72 working hours to process the request after it is accepted.

If your request is rejected, kindly review the common reasons for rejections outlined below:
- Invalid Data: Ensure that the channel name matches the label name provided in the B2B or metadata.
- Broken Links: Verify that the included link is functional.
- Platform Safety and Content: The team may decline any channel at its discretion to maintain the platform’s safety and content standards.
To remove any channel from whitelist, you can raise a ticket in the dashboard.
